Job Description:

Jupiter Jewelry seeks a Sales & Production associate who understands the fundamentals of jewelry and jewelry design and production.  This is a multi-faceted role which requires the ability to manage multiple jobs at once - sales, customer repairs, and custom design.  This role requires interacting with clients professionally and warmly, processing sales for the store, and working closely with production and design to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for the client from start to finish.

It is imperative our team is always working to create an emotional and memorable connection between our customers and the store.  You will provide enthusiastic support for your other team members, exceptional service to our clients, and display a passion for jewelry.

The ideal candidate is a team player with a can-do attitude and someone who is always thinking of the customer.  This is a full-time position, paid hourly.  Must work Saturdays.

Position Overview:

  • Customer Service/Customer Sales
    • Perform, track, and oversee the processing of client repair requests and returns
    • Answer phones, chats, and client emails with a sales-driven attitude
    • Answer and take ownership of inquiries about the Jupiter Jewelry brand, product, order process, and policies accurately and confidently via email, phone, and in person
    • Demonstrate a knowledge of fine jewelry and bands categories to drive sales in these categories
    • Assist on the sales floor as needed including greeting customers, and assisting walk-in clients
    • Prepare and process client orders, sales, and payments in the Point of Sale (POS) system
    • Track and address client inquiries with a sense of urgency across communication channels, including finding and proposing solutions as they arise
    • Comfortable starting a custom order/design for a client and see it through to completion
  • Sales Administration & Support
    • Assists with inventory and supply ordering
    • Research solutions as needed for store operations
    • Communicates stock errors and necessary adjustments as they occur
    • Master Point of Sale (POS) and sales administration tools (Parcel Pro, Quickbooks)
    • Work closely with vendors to secure gemstones, materials, and tools for customer jobs
    • Assist in shipping and receiving


  • 2+ years' experience in retail sales
  • 2+ years' experience in the jewelry industry
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; must be comfortable to work around road blocks that may arise in any customer repair or job
  • Empathetic and compassionate individual
  • Strong leadership skills that translate into completing a job from start to finish
